This led to the creation of "YYZ," an instrumental track that ultimately pays homage to YYZ airport, which is identified by its IATA code as Toronto Pearson International Airport.
By using "Not YYZ," users can select any combination of three letters (excluding YYZ) and hear it interpreted in the style reminiscent of Rush's original composition. When the input letters correspond to an actual airport code, the app will display the name and location of that airport in the player, enriching the listening experience.
The application invites exploration of personal connections to travel by allowing users to search for familiar airports or cities they have visited. Users can also experiment with their initials or craft distinctive rhythms, making use of Morse code as a creative framework. The range of audio possibilities is quite extensive.
